I'm subscribed but content is locked (iOS)

Under certain circumstances you might see that episodes are still locked after subscribing to Hopster. The most common reason for this is that you've signed out of your iTunes account.

Your Hopster subscription is associated with your Apple ID (the one you use to sign-in to the App Store and iTunes to authorise purchases), not your iPad. Signing out of iTunes or using a different Apple ID will cause Hopster to revert back to its limited free state.

Here's what to do:

1. Check that you're still signed in to your iTunes account on your iOS device
  • Quit Hopster completely (double-press the iPad/iPhone Home button, then swipe upwards on the Hopster screen to quit it)
  • Touch 'Settings' then swipe down to 'iTunes and App Store'
  • If you are signed in to the same iTunes account that you used to subscribe to Hopster, then proceed to (2) below.
  • If you aren't signed in, do so now.
  • Once you've signed in successfully with your Apple ID, re-launch Hopster and go to the grown ups area.
  • Touch 'Restore my subscription'. You will be asked to enter your Apple ID password.
  • IMPORTANT: if you downloaded Hopster with a different Apple ID, you need to delete the app and re-download it using the correct Apple ID.
  • If this has been successful, all Hopster episodes should now be unlocked. If not, email us at help@hopster.tv

2. Re-install Hopster if necessary
  • Delete Hopster from your device. Hold down on the Hopster icon till it starts to jiggle, then touch the little black 'x' on the corner of the icon.
  • Go to the App Store and download Hopster again.
  • After Hopster has been installed, launch it and go to the grown ups area.
  • Touch 'Restore my subscription'. You will be asked to enter your Apple ID password.
  • If this has been successful, all Hopster episodes should now be unlocked. If not, email us at help@hopster.tv
