Subscribe on Apple TV then Restore on your iPad/iPhone

Using your Hopster account


When you subscribed to Hopster on your Apple TV you would have entered an email address. By doing so, this creates a Hopster account.

You would have also received a 'Welcome' email, where you would need to follow a link to set up a password and complete your registration.


Using this email address and password, you can sign in to Hopster on any iOS device.

See below how to do so:


1. In the grown ups section, tap 'I've already joined Hopster'



2. Enter your email address and password



Voila, you should be in!


Alternatively...

Restore your iTunes subscription using your Apple ID


To ensure you don't subscribe twice, make sure that you are signed in with the same Apple ID on your iPhone/iPad, as the Apple ID you used to purchase Hopster with on your Apple TV. 

Important: Before downloading Hopster on your iOS device, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID as on your Apple TV.

How to check which Apple ID you're using 

- Launch the App Store on your iOS device
- Make sure the 'Featured' tab is selected from the bottom bar
- Scroll all the way down to the bottom and tap on where it says 'Apple ID: {{your email address}}
- In the pop up window, tap on 'View Apple ID'
- Enter your password

Is this the same Apple ID that you're using on your Apple TV?

If so:
- Download Hopster from the App Store
- Launch Hopster and head to the 'Grown Ups' section
- Tap on 'I've already joined Hopster'
- Tap on 'Restore my subscription'
- You'll be prompted to enter your Apple ID password

Your Hopster subscription from Apple TV should now be restored on your iOS device and you can enjoy exploring the Hopster tree with your little ones.
